The Neo Institute Europa is a non-profit think tank in Luxembourg. Young researchers publish independent analysis on European affairs with us, and we teach international relations to anyone who wants to learn. Your support lets us do more of both.

The Institute in brief
The Neo Institute Europa is a non-profit association (ASBL) registered in Luxembourg City on 27 November 2025, RCS number F15340. It is run by volunteers. Since October 2025 it has published 29 long-form analyses by 14 contributors across seven research areas, and it runs Connected Worlds, an online international relations course rated 4.9 on Udemy. Until now the founder has covered all costs; the Institute has no outside funding yet.

Is the Neo Institute Europa a registered non-profit?
Yes. It is an association sans but lucratif (ASBL), the Luxembourgish legal form for a non-profit association, registered in Luxembourg City on 27 November 2025 under RCS number F15340.
How is the Institute funded today?
So far the Institute has run on volunteer work, with the founder paying for the website and legal registration. It has no outside funding yet, so every contribution has a direct effect on what we can do.
Can the Institute take part in grant-funded projects?
Yes. We are open to partnerships and consortia on projects funded by EU programmes, Luxembourg bodies and private foundations, especially on youth participation, democracy, education and European security. Contact us with the call or programme you have in mind.
What does the Institute publish?
Long-form analysis in seven areas: European affairs, security and defence, technology and cyber policy, international law and human rights, democracy and global affairs, youth and society, and climate and environment. Browse our analysis.
